PETER
BISNO has over twenty years of experience handling complex
medical malpractice trials and arbitrations, brain damage cases, birth
injury cases, real estate litigation, business litigation, and insurance
defense matters. His experience encompasses all phases of pre-trial
and trial work including obtaining favorable awards in jury trials
and binding arbitrations. Mr. Bisno has participated in the arbitration
and trial of numerous cases against managed care providers and health
maintenance organizations (HMO) such as Kaiser, as well as cases against
individual physicians and hospitals. His overall success record is
outstanding. He is also experienced in the bankruptcy court, having
served as lead creditors committee counsel representing the interests
of approximately 12,000 creditors in a highly publicized bankruptcy
case filed in California Central District Bankruptcy Court. Mr. Bisno
attended Occidental College and the Ross McCollum Law Center (Whittier
Law School) and is a member of the Bars of the State of California
and the Federal Courts, including the United States Tax Court. Mr.
Bisno voluntary underwent a "rating" process which involved obtaining
the opinions of his colleagues, his opponents, and leading judges
regarding his competence, experience, and ethics. Mr. Bisno was granted
the "AV" rating, which is the highest rating obtainable ("A" for competence,
the highest rating; "V" for ethics, the highest rating). Mr. Bisno
is highly intelligent and well prepared. He has a proven track record
of obtaining excellent results for his clients and has he enjoys an
excellent reputation in the legal community. Mr. Bisno is happily
married with two children.
